Responsibilities
- Install and configure computer systems, applications, and hardware within the company H.Q. – Stores – Warehouses
- Research and identify solutions to software and hardware issues and diagnose and troubleshoot technical matters, including account setup and network configuration.
- Manage, maintain, and repair IT systems for all departments.
- Resolving network issues.
- Testing and evaluating new technologies.
- Confirms program objectives and specifications by testing new programs, comparing them with established standards, and making modifications.
- Maintain jovial relationships with clients.
- Prepare accurate, clear, and timely reports.
- Prioritize work and set expectations for all incidents and requests.
- Document knowledge-based tech notes and articles.
- Analyze, troubleshoot, and resolve reported issues (software, hardware, and processes) using a logical and systematic approach.
- Document all support incidents for data reporting purposes.
- Provide day-to-day desktop support.
- Additional projects and duties as required to support the growth of the IT department.
- Manage external support with vendors and internal departments.
- Oversee the development of and validate business functional requirements.
- Manage small/medium-sized projects.
- Validate resource requirements and develop cost estimates.
- Identify and escalate issues as needed.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science or computer engineering
- Two to three years of experience in the same field
- Work under pressure.
- Flexible personality
- Must possess a strong work ethic, be self-motivated and reliable.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Able to demonstrate leadership skills and take ownership of customer issues reported.
